THE GOOD PART: A Minute Devotion

Write it GOOD!! 

Esther 8:8
Reminded me of a recent conversation with a friend who is worried about how a situation  will play out very soon

( ...and has very good reason to dread.😔)

Esther 8:8 says (paraphrasing here): you go ahead and write for your people how you would like it to be- in the Kings name.

I'd asked my sweet friend to remember to imagine the best case scenario when she finds herself dreading a certain outcome. Sometimes we can't see that it can be anything but bad. 

Why is it so hard for us to believe God can do  "over and above- MORE - than we can ask or think..."?

What if we could write the story any way we would like it to go? 
How would you write your hard story? 
How would we love to see it play out?  
What is the best case scenario we can think of? 

The King told Esther to "write it how she liked, and seal it with the King's ring... for the writing in His name and sealed with His ring, no man can alter or reverse."

God has given us some liberty to believe the best here!
Some of the liberty lies with us. This is faith.
So write it good. Don't get stuck believing "it" will be bad.
Believe what God said, that "all things work together for good for those that Love Him and are called according to His purposes." Rom 8:28

Now, I know, just like Esther's Peeps, the enemy is still coming for us here on earth, but we can have- and have been given LIBERTY, HELP, HEAVENLY EMPOWERED ARMOR, AND VICTORY- promised because our King fights FOR us! 

So let's go ahead and let our hearts believe the best, so we can get relief from the enemy's taunts- that things can't get better. Remember, "With God, all things are possible!"

So…Write it good, Girlfriend!!! Because GOD IS GOOD!

Good,  great King, who is working all things out for our good and your glory…give us faith today that we might believe that you can bring good in this story we are a part of - and not just good- the greatest good we could ever imagine it to be!!! Thank you that you encourage us with the truths in your word!
We love you and wait… and look expectantly- for the good we are praying to see come in our stories!!
